NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY is a Memory Care facility located in BOTHELL, WA. In Washington State, Memory Care is a term used to describe the professional care provided to individuals who suffer from Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia. Memory Care in WA can typically be found across 3 primary types of assisted living – Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Nursing Homes. Memory Care is normally considered an Add-On service in addition to the daily assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) required by the resident. Aside from the specialized training and certifications required for staff and caregivers, the buildings themselves must be equipped with certain features such as special locks on the doors before they can be licensed for Memory Care. NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY is fully certified, and up to date on their training and certifications to properly care for residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia.

The available room listed here is a private 1-Bedroom Suite which may also be referred to as a 1-Bedroom Apartment or Cottage. Besides the bedroom, a 1-bedroom suite will typically include a separate living room and kitchen. The size is listed as 529 Sq Ft. The bathroom is private, and wont be used by anybody else but you.

Pets:

NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY does not allow pets. This does not necessarily mean there are no pets in the facility, but that they do not allow residents to bring their own.

Smoking Policy:

NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Short-Term / Respite Care:

NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY offers Short-Term / Respite Care with daily rates for anyone who needs to stay for less than a month. Respite Care services can offer relief for current caregivers, allowing them to take a much-needed break.

Onsite Rehabilitative Services:

This facility offers in-house rehabilitative services. These services may vary from providing assistance with stretching, range-of-motion, or following a prescribed at-home plan, to a full on-site exercise room with professional equipment and physical therapists. If you need onsite rehabilitative services, please make sure to verify what type of rehab services are offered at this location. Additionally, visiting therapists for scheduled physical therapy treatments may be accommodated.

Hospice Care:

They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

What is the cost?

NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY works with insurance companies, and accepts Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance policies as a payment source for this room. They are familiar with the billing requirements, and are seeking a Long Term Care Insurance resident for this room. The base price is $163 per day or $5,060 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day. Your Long Term Care Insurance agent can help you understand your policy coverages, terms, and limitations.

What's included in the base price?

NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

NORTH CREEK RETIREMENT & ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)

Transportation

Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
