More Information About Olympic View Assisted Living

Olympic View Assisted Living is an Assisted Living Facility located in SEATAC, WA. Assisted Living Facilities in Washington are typically licensed to care for 7+ residents. Some smaller Assisted Living Facilities may accommodate 7 – 20 residents, but the average is between 60-70 residents per facility. WA Assisted Living Facilities are typically large apartment / resort style facilities that encourage social interactions, group activities and communal dining. They are perfect for people who need some daily assistance, but prefer a much more independent and social lifestyle. Assisted Living Facilities typically employ less caregivers per resident than smaller Adult Family Homes. This encourages independence and social interaction, but may not be suitable for residents who require constant attention and care from staff.
Olympic View Assisted Living currently has a room available, and is looking for the right resident to join their facility. The available room listed here is a private Studio, which typically has a kitchen or kitchenette, and a bed area near the living room. The size is listed as 500 Sq Ft. The bathroom is private, and wont be used by anybody else but you.
Olympic View Assisted Living understands that pets are family too, and is able to accommodate your furry friend if you have one. Weight limits and additional fees may apply.
Olympic View Assisted Living does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.
With a specialty in caring for adults with developmental disabilities, they have the certifications, expertise and experience to accommodate and care for disabled adults through all stages of life.
They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

What is the cost?

The base price is $110 per day or $3,400 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.

What's included in the base price?

Olympic View Assisted Living provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.
Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.
Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.
Olympic View Assisted Living does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.
A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.
All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)
