FRANKE TOBEY JONES is a Nursing Home located in Tacoma, WA. In Washington State, Nursing Homes – also known as Skilled Nursing Facilities are facilities that provide 24-hour supervised care by a Registered Nurse (RN), a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a combination of the three. WA Nursing Homes are reserved for individuals who require specialized care that can only be administered or supervised by a skilled nurse. Many facilities offer on-site rehabilitation in fully equipped gyms with trained physical therapists. Nursing homes have the highest number of staff per resident among the different types of assisted living, which allows them to provide very personal daily care and attention to each of their residents. They typically offer both in-room and communal dining options, as well as daily social, physical and mental activities. Unlike Assisted Living Facilities or Adult Family Homes, residents typically need a physician’s referral to be admitted to a Skilled Nursing Facility. Your doctor may even recommend a local Skilled Nursing Facility, but you ultimately have the choice to decide which facility you prefer.

With a specialty in caring for adults with developmental disabilities, they have the certifications, expertise and experience to accommodate and care for disabled adults through all stages of life.

Onsite Rehabilitative Services:

This facility offers in-house rehabilitative services. These services may vary from providing assistance with stretching, range-of-motion, or following a prescribed at-home plan, to a full on-site exercise room with professional equipment and physical therapists. If you need onsite rehabilitative services, please make sure to verify what type of rehab services are offered at this location. Additionally, visiting therapists for scheduled physical therapy treatments may be accommodated.

Hospice Care:

What is the cost?

The base price is $445 per day or $13,800 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.

What's included in the base price?

FRANKE TOBEY JONES provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

FRANKE TOBEY JONES does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)

Transportation

Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
