Garden Village is a resident-centered care program that integrates behavioral healthcare services into a skilled nursing program, moving away from an institutional model to a more individually tailored “neighborhood” model of care where residents can feel like they are still part of the community, with focuses on normal daily living routines and home-like comforts.

Primary care physicians with a specialty in geriatrics supervise all resident care. The program brings elderly patients back into the community from state and local psychiatric hospitals and provides them with more enhanced care than they would receive in a traditional nursing home.

Whether a resident’s needs are for crisis stabilization, rehabilitation or long-term residence and palliative care, each one receives an individualized program that meets his or her unique needs. The staff is dedicated to a resident-centered environment of care that supports aging residents’ choices and preferences in order to enhance their quality of life.
