ABOUT OUR RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

Meadows Courtyard has been owned and operated by Pam and Tim Richardson since 1991

Meadows is a 75 unit complex that includes a library, TV/family room, bistro, "Meadows Market" (store), beauty shop, pool table, exercise room and two dining rooms.

Outside the landscaping includes: two water features, a pond with walking path, gazebo, swing, raised garden boxes, and, since 2013, a 6 hole putting green!

Rent includes: 3 meals, cable television, weekly apartment cleaning, laundry services, utilities except telephone, activity program.

Our staff: friendly, caring, dedicated, down to earth, long term, goes the extra mile.  

Security: locked with keypad access - dusk to dawn, staffed 24 hours, pull cords in each room.

Our focus at Meadows Courtyard is to provide a Retirement Living Community that has the feeling of a "big" home. Step into our building to experience the caring/home like feeling. Our Independent Living apartments are available in studio, one, and two bedroom sizes. They include large bathrooms with walk in showers and kitchenettes with refrigerators.

Our community includes 37 Residential Care apartments for residents who may need assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, transfering and medication management. We do accept Medicaid in Residential Care.

 

More Information About MEADOWS COURTYARD

MEADOWS COURTYARD is an Independent Living Community located in OREGON CITY, OR. Independent Living in Oregon is typically for 55+ adults who are fully independent, but no longer wish to care for a household. In OR, the design of Independent Living Facilities may vary from large apartment / resort style facilities to townhome or cottage neighborhoods. Independent Living comes with a community of like-minded individuals, and is a highly social setting with common areas for residents, communal dining halls for (optional) meal plans and other various amenities. Many offer local transportation for residents. Independent Living is perfect for someone who needs no daily assistance of any kind, but prefers to spend less time on household chores such as housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation. Independent Living Communities are not suitable for residents who require any assistance with Activities of Daily Living. Independent Living communities typically have a staff of housekeepers, kitchen/dining room staff and concierge, but no caregivers. Many Independent Living Communities share a campus with Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing or Memory Care in case a transition is ever needed.
MEADOWS COURTYARD currently has a room available, and is looking for the right resident to join their community. The available room listed here is a private 1-Bedroom Suite which may also be referred to as a 1-Bedroom Apartment or Cottage. Besides the bedroom, a 1-bedroom suite will typically include a separate living room and kitchen. The size is listed as 400 Sq Ft. The bathroom is private, and wont be used by anybody else but you.

Pets:

MEADOWS COURTYARD does not allow pets. This does not necessarily mean there are no pets in the facility, but that they do not allow residents to bring their own.

Smoking Policy:

MEADOWS COURTYARD does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Short-Term / Respite Care:

MEADOWS COURTYARD offers Short-Term / Respite Care with daily rates for anyone who needs to stay for less than a month. Respite Care services can offer relief for current caregivers, allowing them to take a much-needed break.

Hospice Care:

They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

What is the cost?

The base price is $85 per day or $2,650 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.

What's included in the base price?

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

MEADOWS COURTYARD does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)

Transportation

Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
