The Owner/ Manager and Staff at Emerald Crest AFH are consists of Certified Nursing Assistants or Home Care Aides who have additional certification in the following areas: Mental Health, Dementia, and Diabetes Care.
We focus on the specific needs and abilities of each resident. Each customized care plan includes activities, food preferences etc. Our goal is for our residents to be well cared for and happy!

Residents will be encouraged to participate with others through the activities provided in the house. Due to the smaller ratio of residents to caregivers we are able to offer more interaction between the residents & caregivers, faster response time if someone needs assistance, activities and meals fine-tuned to the interests and likes of our residents. Meals: fresh home-cooked meals, daily baked goods, individual preferences respected, special diets accommodated, snacks offered between meals.

Repositioning Care: Assistance with turning & repositioning to ensure comfort and reduce pressure related risks at regular intervals throughout the day or night.
Memory Care: Caregivers and staff have the expertise and training to accommodate clients with Alzheimer's or other memory-related diseases.
Developmental Disability Care: Equipped to provide personalized care and support for the unique needs of adults with developmental disabilities.
Mental Health Care: Specialized care for adults managing a variety of mental health conditions, in a safe and supportive environment.
