The Cottages at Marysville is a memory care community that combines the best features of both adult family homes and commercial assisted living communities. Here you will find an intimate environment where residents receive individual attention provided by a professionally managed, highly trained and compassionate staff, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Cottages at Marysville, a memory care community, is ideally located in downtown Marysville with easy access to all services. All of our cottages are secure and open into an outside courtyard to allow residents to stroll, exercise and enjoy open space and fresh air. Your family will feel at ease knowing your loved one is at home at The Cottages.

About Our Community

The Cottages at Marysville, a Memory Care Community built and opened in 2012, offers four small, cozy cottages, each with a maximum of 12 residents. This design concept allows us to provide your loved one with the personal attention he or she deserves in a familiar, intimate, calm and safe environment.

Family members also often need information and support to understand and cope with the progressive nature of memory disorders. Our trained staff will be there with you on this journey providing advice, consultation and most importantly emotional support. Each Cottage opens and exits into an expansive but secure outside interior courtyard allowing residents the freedom to safely stroll, get some sun, exercise and enjoy open spaces among landscaped walkways and surroundings. Each cottage is self-contained with its own kitchen, dining room, laundry, spacious living room area with a beautiful fireplace and private resident rooms.

Smoking Policy:

THE COTTAGES AT MARYSVILLE does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Short-Term / Respite Care:

THE COTTAGES AT MARYSVILLE offers Short-Term / Respite Care with daily rates for anyone who needs to stay for less than a month. Respite Care services can offer relief for current caregivers, allowing them to take a much-needed break.

Specialized Care for Adults with Developmental Disabilities:

With a specialty in caring for adults with developmental disabilities, they have the certifications, expertise and experience to accommodate and care for disabled adults through all stages of life.

Hospice Care:

They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

What is the cost?

The base price is $194 per day or $6,000 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.

What's included in the base price?

THE COTTAGES AT MARYSVILLE provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

THE COTTAGES AT MARYSVILLE does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)

Transportation

Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
