Smoking Policy:
Elderberry Hill Care does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from
other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.
What is the cost?
The base price is $155 per day or $4,800 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.
What's included in the base price?
Elderberry Hill Care provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.
Meals
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets.
Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.
Medications Management
Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.
Blood Pressure and Weight Checks
Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.
Housekeeping and Laundry
Elderberry Hill Care does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed.
Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.
Activities
A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.
Utilities
All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)
Transportation
Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
