The Promised Land Adult Family Home is a senior care facility located in Bothell, Washington. We have been providing care for the elderly for over 25 years. Emily & Andrew Fitzgerald are now the current Care Providers for the home which Emily's mother founded back in 1997. The Promised Land AFH is home to seniors and retired residents who place a high value on their independence, friendships, healthy lifestyle, and medical care. What makes The Promised Land special is that it is a small house setting with only 6 residents, allowing for the most personalized and attentive care. Our mission is to enrich the aging experience by providing opportunities for active, engaged, and purposeful living. This benefits not just our residents, but also their families, our staff, and the greater community. We specialize in the field of memory care for those diagnosed with dementia, alzheimer, etc. but we accept any level of care needs.

This facility offers in-house rehabilitative services. These services may vary from providing assistance with stretching, range-of-motion, or following a prescribed at-home plan, to a full on-site exercise room with professional equipment and physical therapists. If you need onsite rehabilitative services, please make sure to verify what type of rehab services are offered at this location. Additionally, visiting therapists for scheduled physical therapy treatments may be accommodated.
Hospice Care:
They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.
What is the cost?
The base price is $274 per day or $8,500 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.
What's included in the base price?
THE PROMISED LAND II provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.
Meals
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets.
Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.
Medications Management
Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.
Blood Pressure and Weight Checks
Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.
Housekeeping and Laundry
THE PROMISED LAND II does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed.
Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.
Activities
A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.
Utilities
All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)
Transportation
Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
