Care Provided at New Hazen Senior Home

Our professionally trained staff assists residents with their daily routines providing stand-by assistance for safety or full assistance for our dependent seniors. Our staff promotes independence and upholds the dignity of all residents. 

Three home cooked meals are served daily with snacks and refreshments between meals. We are fully certified in dementia and mental health. We have a 3 to 1 resident to staff ratio, meaning we have 2 fully certified staff working together. We know the importance of keeping the elderly physically and mentally active, that is why we provide activities and social engagement throughout the day. The home has a spacious backyard where your loved one is invited to take walks or sit and enjoy the blooming flowers under the gazebo.

What is the cost?

New Hazen Senior Care LLC works with insurance companies, and accepts Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance policies as a payment source for this room. They are familiar with the billing requirements, and are seeking a Long Term Care Insurance resident for this room. The base price is $226 per day or $7,000 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day. New Hazen Senior Care LLC provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

New Hazen Senior Care LLC does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)
