CRYSTAL TERRACE is an Assisted Living Facility located in KLAMATH FALLS, OR. Assisted Living Facilities in Oregon are typically licensed to care for 6+ residents. Some smaller Assisted Living Facilities may accommodate 6 – 20 residents, while others may accommodate 60+ residents per facility. OR Assisted Living Facilities are typically large apartment / resort style facilities that encourage social interactions, group activities and communal dining. In Oregon, these are separated into two categories - Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) and Residential Care Facilities (RCFs). Assisted Living Facilities offer private self-contained Studios and 1 - 3 Bedroom Suites, Apartments and Cottages with their own kitchens and bathrooms. Residential Care Facilities only offer private and shared rooms, with no Studios or Apartment style units. Both offer communal dining halls. Room & Care fits both of these into the same category called Assisted Living Facilities. You can tell by the Room Type which type of facility it actually is. Shared Rooms and Private Rooms are formally considered Residential Care Facilities (RCFs), while Studios, 1, 2 and 3-Bedroom Suites are formally considered Assisted Living Facilities. Assisted Living Facilities and RCFs typically employ less caregivers per resident than smaller Adult Foster Homes. Pets:

CRYSTAL TERRACE does not allow pets. This does not necessarily mean there are no pets in the facility, but that they do not allow residents to bring their own.

Smoking Policy:

CRYSTAL TERRACE does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Short-Term / Respite Care:

CRYSTAL TERRACE offers Short-Term / Respite Care with daily rates for anyone who needs to stay for less than a month. Respite Care services can offer relief for current caregivers, allowing them to take a much-needed break.

Onsite Rehabilitative Services:

This facility offers in-house rehabilitative services. These services may vary from providing assistance with stretching, range-of-motion, or following a prescribed at-home plan, to a full on-site exercise room with professional equipment and physical therapists. If you need onsite rehabilitative services, please make sure to verify what type of rehab services are offered at this location. Additionally, visiting therapists for scheduled physical therapy treatments may be accommodated.

Hospice Care:

They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

Hoyer Lift:

They have an on-site Hoyer lift available for those who need it, and their caregivers have proper training and experience using it.

What is the cost?

The base price is $141 per day or $4,380 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.

What's included in the base price?

CRYSTAL TERRACE provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

CRYSTAL TERRACE does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)

Transportation

Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
