Welcome to Amani Place

We offer residents peaceful assisted living, Alzheimer's care, memory care, nursing,  and hospice care in an adult family home environment. Our goal is to provide your loved one with tender and compassionate care while giving you peace of mind.

 

Our Services

One of our core values is that residents be allowed to age in place. Which is why we pride ourselves on offering services indepdent through end of life, and everywhere in between. There isn't a level of care we do not provide from minimum assistance, assisted living level of care, to memory or skilled nursing level of care and hospice. We want this to be the last move anyone ever has to make. `

 

Assisted Living Services

Our Assisted living services is intended to help residents stay as independent as possible while giving support to activities of daily living (ADL’s), and other assistance when it is needed.

 

Skilled Nursing Services

We have compassionate and professional team members that are dedicated to the quality of life of our residents. Some of our residents, due to medical troubles may need extended or intensive care services that they receive right here in our facilities.

 

Memory Care Services

Memory care lets residents facing memory loss (i.e. Alzheimers or Dementia) to preserve a feeling of independence while being cared for by professional staff. Our facilities have a Dementia Care Specialty Certification and our residents benefit from being cared for in a peaceful family environment with consistent routines

 

Hospice Services

​We provide hospice services, allowing residents and family to be involved and in a peaceful home, while experiencing death with dignity. Our staff is thoughtful, nice and trained in the special circumstances regarding dying. They connect well, provide a listening ear, and are experienced in working with families who are coping with an end of life illness

 

 

More Information About Amani Place AFH

Amani Place AFH is a Memory Care facility located in Spokane Valley, WA. In Washington State, Memory Care is a term used to describe the professional care provided to individuals who suffer from Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia. Memory Care in WA can typically be found across 3 primary types of assisted living – Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Nursing Homes. Memory Care is normally considered an Add-On service in addition to the daily assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) required by the resident. Aside from the specialized training and certifications required for staff and caregivers, the buildings themselves must be equipped with certain features such as special locks on the doors before they can be licensed for Memory Care. Amani Place AFH is fully certified, and up to date on their training and certifications to properly care for residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
Amani Place AFH currently has a room available, and is looking for the right resident to join their home. The available room listed here is private, meaning you get the entire room to yourself. The bathroom is private, and wont be used by anybody else but you.

Pets:

Amani Place AFH does not allow pets. This does not necessarily mean there are no pets in the facility, but that they do not allow residents to bring their own.

Smoking Policy:

Amani Place AFH does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Specialized Care for Adults with Developmental Disabilities:

With a specialty in caring for adults with developmental disabilities, they have the certifications, expertise and experience to accommodate and care for disabled adults through all stages of life.

Onsite Rehabilitative Services:

This facility offers in-house rehabilitative services. These services may vary from providing assistance with stretching, range-of-motion, or following a prescribed at-home plan, to a full on-site exercise room with professional equipment and physical therapists. If you need onsite rehabilitative services, please make sure to verify what type of rehab services are offered at this location. Additionally, visiting therapists for scheduled physical therapy treatments may be accommodated.

Hospice Care:

They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

Hoyer Lift:

They have an on-site Hoyer lift available for those who need it, and their caregivers have proper training and experience using it.

What is the cost?

The base price is $210 per day or $6,500 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.

What's included in the base price?

Amani Place AFH provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

Amani Place AFH does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)
