Curry Manor Residential Care Facility is a beautiful landmark located in peaceful Garden Valley.

We offer Residential Care and Memory Care within a safe, secured environment for freedom of movement. Curry Manor is a certified Medicaid provider. We offer for residents to remain here in their home for the entirety of their ever changing needs.

We have an excellent caregiving staff composed of professional staff and caregivers. We are well known for our quality caregiving practices as well as our specialty in caring for those with advancing Alzheimer’s disease.At Curry Manor we promote independence, dignity and compassionate care with focus on what residents are still able to do rather than what they can no longer complete.Our residents are able to go outdoors and walk along a paved, secured walking path within an orchard and farm setting.

We try hard to find out what makes each of our residents so special. Past background information is collected from families prior to residents moving to our facility. We inquire into personal interests and design an individualized plan of care based on the resident’s preferences and social needs.

MEMORY CARE

At Curry Manor our memory care staff members are 100% dedicated to the comfort, life enrichment and genuine happiness of all our residents and their loved ones.

We begin with the knowledge and history of each resident. A tailored life program is then developed and delivered through each caregiver. We develop close bonds between residents, their families, and our caregivers.

As in most wonderful neighborhoods, at Curry Manor friends take care of friends. A life of stress-free living and familiar activities are found, once again.

RESIDENTIAL CARE

Residential Care at Curry Manor is designed for seniors who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle but may need some additional assistance to do so. Curry Manor was developed to ensure that our residents have every opportunity to enjoy life. Living “comfortably” is what we offer. Our staff truly care about our residents, each other and the reputation that we have built. Our programs and services are tailored to fit your individual needs and wants. Personal Services

Additional levels of assistance are available beyond our basic care. These are tailored to meet each resident’s specific needs. Residents will be assessed prior to move-in and regularly thereafter, to determine which level of care is needed.

CURRY MANOR is a Memory Care facility located in ROSEBURG, OR. In Oregon, Memory Care is a term used to describe the professional care provided to individuals who suffer from Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia. Memory Care in OR can typically be found across several types of assisted living – Adult Foster Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Residential Care Facilities, and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Memory Care is normally considered an Add-On service in addition to the daily assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) required by the resident. Aside from the specialized training and certifications required for staff and caregivers, the buildings themselves must be equipped with certain features such as special locks on the doors before they can be licensed for Memory Care. CURRY MANOR currently has a room available, and is looking for the right female resident to join their home. The available room listed here is shared, meaning you will have a roommate. The bathroom is shared between you and one or more of the residents in the home.

Pets:

CURRY MANOR does not allow pets. This does not necessarily mean there are no pets in the facility, but that they do not allow residents to bring their own.

Smoking Policy:

CURRY MANOR does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Short-Term / Respite Care:

CURRY MANOR offers Short-Term / Respite Care with daily rates for anyone who needs to stay for less than a month. Respite Care services can offer relief for current caregivers, allowing them to take a much-needed break.

Onsite Rehabilitative Services:

This facility offers in-house rehabilitative services. These services may vary from providing assistance with stretching, range-of-motion, or following a prescribed at-home plan, to a full on-site exercise room with professional equipment and physical therapists. If you need onsite rehabilitative services, please make sure to verify what type of rehab services are offered at this location. Additionally, visiting therapists for scheduled physical therapy treatments may be accommodated.

Hospice Care:

They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

Hoyer Lift:

They have an on-site Hoyer lift available for those who need it, and their caregivers have proper training and experience using it.

What is the cost?

The base price is $223 per day or $6,900 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day.

What's included in the base price?

CURRY MANOR provides 24/7 supervision, emergency assistance and daily companionship as a base service for all residents.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

CURRY MANOR does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)

Transportation

Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
