New Friends of Coos Bay was recently purchased and the new owners have updated the campus and the memory care facility. They are continuously reviewing every aspect of day-to-day life and working with staff and residents on how to make the New Friends of Coos Bay memory care facility experience an even better one.

Our memory care facility residents are invited and encouraged to take an active role in our many programs and services, continuing the activities they enjoyed in their own homes. Seeking Medicaid Resident

NEW FRIENDS OF COOS BAY LLC accepts Medicaid, and is seeking a Medicaid resident for this available room. Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Accommodations can be made for any dietary restrictions or special doctor-prescribed diets. Additional food items such as coffee, tea and snacks between meals are also included.

Medications Management

Medications Management is provided as a service for all residents. Caregivers and staff keep track of administration schedules as well as prescription refill schedules.

Blood Pressure and Weight Checks

Regular blood pressure and weight checks are done at scheduled intervals, and recorded to track irregularities.

Housekeeping and Laundry

NEW FRIENDS OF COOS BAY LLC does all daily housekeeping throughout the home as well as in your room. Laundry is provided for your flat linens on a set schedule or sooner if needed. Your personal laundry is also washed and folded regularly by care staff.

Activities

A range of social and recreational activities are offered every week to keep residents occupied, entertained and engaged. Feel free to ask what types of activities are scheduled for this week.

Utilities

All standard home utilities are included in the base price. (This excludes personal cell phone plans which are paid for by the resident or family.)

Transportation

Local transportation for certain scheduled outings, as well as doctor visits is provided at no additional cost.
