Description

Welcome Home

Tucked away in the historic town of Saint Helens is a little place with a beautiful view of the  Columbia River, that is always warm, cozy, and full of life.  This is Solomia’s Home Care, a residential care facility that feels like home.

In this setting, Solomia’s Home Care offers a fulfilling and satisfying lifestyle that is tailored to fit individual preferences and needs.

We are excited that you have come to learn a little bit about how we live at Solomia’s Home Care.  You are welcome here, and we saved you a chair by the fireplace.

When your loved one with cognitive or physical disabilities is no longer able to care for themselves in their own homes, Solomia’s Home Care is an option.

Solomia’s Home Care is a single-family residence that offers care in a home-like setting with a 24-hour staff.  Our goal is to provide necessary care while emphasizing residents’ independence, choice, and decision-making.

Our highly trained staff prepare and serve meals, help with eating, dressing, bowel and bladder care, walking, getting out of bed or a chair, behavioral issues, and medication assistance.

We serve a wide variety of residents with varying needs and abilities, from those needing only room, board and minimal personal assistance, to those residents needing full personal and skilled nursing care.

More Information About SOLOMIA HOME CARE

SOLOMIA HOME CARE is an Assisted Living Facility located in SAINT HELENS, OR. Assisted Living Facilities in Oregon are typically licensed to care for 6+ residents. Some smaller Assisted Living Facilities may accommodate 6 – 20 residents, while others may accommodate 60+ residents per facility. OR Assisted Living Facilities are typically large apartment / resort style facilities that encourage social interactions, group activities and communal dining. In Oregon, these are separated into two categories - Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) and Residential Care Facilities (RCFs). Assisted Living Facilities offer private self-contained Studios and 1 - 3 Bedroom Suites, Apartments and Cottages with their own kitchens and bathrooms. Residential Care Facilities only offer private and shared rooms, with no Studios or Apartment style units. Both offer communal dining halls. Room & Care fits both of these into the same category called Assisted Living Facilities. You can tell by the Room Type which type of facility it actually is. Shared Rooms and Private Rooms are formally considered Residential Care Facilities (RCFs), while Studios, 1, 2 and 3-Bedroom Suites are formally considered Assisted Living Facilities. Both are perfect for people who need some daily assistance, but prefer a much more independent and social lifestyle. Assisted Living Facilities and RCFs typically employ less caregivers per resident than smaller Adult Foster Homes. This encourages independence and social interaction, but may not be suitable for residents who require constant attention and care from staff.
SOLOMIA HOME CARE currently has a room available, and is looking for the right resident to join their facility. The available room listed here is private, meaning you get the entire room to yourself. The bathroom is private, and wont be used by anybody else but you.
SOLOMIA HOME CARE does not allow pets. This does not necessarily mean there are no pets in the facility, but that they do not allow residents to bring their own.
SOLOMIA HOME CARE does not allow smoking on the premises, but they do allow the use of Vapor/E-cigarettes in designated areas. They have one or more designated areas outside where Vapor/E-cigarette users can vape away from the building and away from other residents. Vaping indoors or anywhere outside the designated areas is strictly prohibited.
They provide personalized and compassionate hospice care services for residents and their families during the end-stages of life. Respect and dignity are top priorities for residents and their families – especially during these times.

What is the cost?

SOLOMIA HOME CARE works with insurance companies, and accepts Long Term Care (LTC) Insurance policies as a payment source for this room. They are familiar with the billing requirements, and are seeking a Long Term Care Insurance resident for this room. The base price is $226 per day or $7,000 per month. There's a lot that's included in the base price, but assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is typically not included. ADLs are common daily tasks such as grooming, dressing, eating and bathing (among others). The final price is different for each resident, and is determined according to how much daily care and assistance with ADLs is required each day. Your Long Term Care Insurance agent can help you understand your policy coverages, terms, and limitations.
