My name is Jowet, a Certified Nursing Assistant with over 15 years of long-term care experience. I founded Serene Lynnwood AFH LLC because I believed families deserved a better option, a real home, not a facility. I live in the home, I cook breakfast every morning, and I answer my own phone. DSHS License #758815, with specialty designations in Dementia, Mental Illness, and Developmental Disabilities.
We are a true home, with never more than 6 residents, which means your loved one is genuinely known and cared for. I cook home meals daily, tailored to dietary needs and cultural preferences. Our living room is bright and welcoming, our backyard has a deck for morning coffee, and family visits are always open. No scheduled hours, no appointments, ever.
My guiding belief is simple: every person deserves to feel at home, not managed. I care for each resident the way I would want my own family cared for: with dignity, consistency, and genuine warmth. I live here. I know everyone's name, their story, their preferences. Love and laughter live here, and that is not a slogan, it is how we start every day.
Mornings begin with a home-cooked breakfast together at the kitchen table. Mid-mornings bring garden time, puzzles, music, or simply sitting in the sunlight. Afternoons include a hot lunch and rest. Evenings are calm and personal. Routines are honored, flexibility is always offered, and residents are never rushed. Family is welcome to join any meal, any time.
